Top 50 Hair Band Songs of the 1980s

I wanna rock!  Who else wants to rock?  A few years ago, I preformed a social experiment with a some friends of mine.  A good friend D-Bo/Derrick, we listen to I Heart Radio nearly everyday while we worked.  We were listening a lot of Warrent, Poison, Motley Crue, Firehouse and Guns N’ Roses, 80s rock.  We discussed our favorite songs from one of the most loved or hated era’s in music history.  I grew up on this music and simply love it very much.  So then we decided to make a list of our top 50 Glam Rock or Hair band songs.

We started by naming different bands and some of their top songs.  We ended up with a list of around 87 songs, so we had to trim it to 50.  I decided to trim it to 64 songs and do a NCAA college basketball type Final Four Tournament.  Then I would take each match up and have friends vote for the songs in each match up.  The song with the most votes, moved on.  It turned out to be a lot of fun and we had a lot of upsets, so this list is based off a group of peoples opinion and votes.  We had so much fun, but the work wasn’t over.  I had to make a top 50 list.  I did so and here it is!

My fandom started early, I saw Star Wars at a young age and I was off and running. Growing up in the 1980s was probably the best decade to grow up in. We had the best cartoons, music and movies. I also read comics, Batman, Star Wars and many more. Oh, by the way, I write comics for Unparalleled Comics
